      The Spotlight Initiative in Grenada is designed to focus attention, coordinate human effort, and strategically apply resources to the implementation of a well-conceived, comprehensive national programme for ending family violence and all forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. 

      Total cost: $3,374,419| Direct beneficiaries: 33,457 | Indirect beneficiaries: 78,502

      Innovations

      Co-Creation
      Co-creation between duty bearers and rights holders in the design, development and implementation of innovative programmes and activities.

      Inclusion Criteria
      Scale-up innovative programmes that focus on prevention of VAWG for those groups facing multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination and risk.

      Putting "the furthest behind, first" in services
      Empowering service users through innovative social accountability measures to engage with service providers and duty bearers. Collect, use and share data on quality services. Invest in joint activism on gender equality and social justice around family violence.

      Shared operations
      Operationalizing the United Nations Development System (UNDS) reform, creating new ways to integrate and join up programming thus leveraging the comparative advantage of UN Agencies, Funds and Programmes around ending violence against women and girls.
